Migration Mobile Camp

explore wildlife and culture

Kirurumu Migration Camp is an exclusive luxury mobile camp designed to follow the majestic Great Migration in the Serengeti, covering both the northern and southern regions.

From June to October, we operate as Kirurumu Serengeti North Camp (Kogatende), a landmark location where thousands of wildebeests cross the Mara River. Subsequently, from December to March, we transform into Kirurumu Serengeti South Camp, selecting locations in the south based on weather conditions. Often, we find ourselves in spectacular enclaves overlooking Lake Masek or Ndutu, within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Our strategy is built on flexibility and adaptability. While we do not maintain a fixed presence, we leverage our mobility and deep knowledge of the region. This allows us to avoid crowded areas and instead position ourselves in less frequented but exceptional areas for wildlife viewing. Despite seasonal movements, we ensure you are always close to the migration action, providing an immersive and unforgettable experience.

Activities

The Great Migration
One of nature's most awe-inspiring phenomena. While we cannot guarantee it due to weather variables, we recommend staying in the northern area for at least 2 days to enhance your chances of witnessing it.
Bush lunch
Savor an outdoor lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, surrounded by native kopjes, a sanctuary for various species. A truly unforgettable experience.
Game viewing with open car
We offer specialized services for photographers and birdwatching enthusiasts, ensuring greater comfort and ease in positioning your camera.
Hot air balloon
Although we advise against this activity due to the disturbance of wildlife, it is available
Bush TV
Sit back, enjoy a beverage and/or a conversation by the campfire dubbed Bush TV, under the luminous starry night sky
