Arusha
Arusha is the city where most northern safaris start. On the day of arrival or the final day before going to the airport, you can always take advantage of it by engaging in an activity or even adding an extra day.
Enjoy a peaceful and scenic canoeing safari following the shorelines of small Momella Lake.
You can view buffaloes, bushbuck, giraffes, hippos and many water birds living in and close to the water.
Within reach are The Tanzanite mines, the only place in the world where this precious blue gem is found.
Arusha is the third largest city in Tanzania. The city is in the shadow of Mount Meru, mantled by forest and it’s a life giving water tower and home to the Warusha Maasai.

On the way you will be accompanied by a guide and ranger, as the area is home to buffalo and other wildlife.

Napuru Waterfall is located on the slopes of Mount Meru, surrounded by indigenous forest.
Reaching the waterfall involves a steep ascent of approximately 20 minutes through the forest.

Moshi
Moshi is a town 30 minutes from the foothills of Kilimanjaro and close to Kilimanjaro airport. It is special to combine activities with a green landscape and some hiking and culture.
The Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route is the best ascent route, this offers the complete Kilimanjaro experience, more acclimatisation time, more culture, and more spectacular scenery. Note: this itinerary ascends via Stella Point and NOT the Western Breach and is for that reason considered to be a safer route.
See all of Kilimanjaro’s main areas and with a 7 day ascent it also allows you a great chance of successfully making it to the roof of Africa! This is designed as a budget trip that does not compromise ethics or safety.
This ascent that is relatively gradual. The numbers of hikers on this route tends to be less than Machame or Marangu Routes and the chance of seeing wildlife are higher.
The Chaga tribe is located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, below the National Park.
You will walk through the forest to reach a waterfall of 80 metres high accompanied by a local guide and our guide.
On the way back a group from the community will be waiting for you with local food to taste the Chaga cuisine.
Finally, you will learn about the process of cultivation and production of coffee by the young Chagas, a tradition inherited from their families. You will have a cup of coffee prepared in an interactive way.
If you like trekking and do not have enough time to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, you can opt for a day trek from Lemosho to reach Shira plateau which lies below Kibo peak.

Tarangire
Tarangire National Park is set on the Maasai Steppe and pastoralists inhabit the surrounding area and the seasonal wildlife corridors and dispersal zones.
In case your safari passes through our lodge in Tarangire (Kirurumu Tarangire) you will have the opportunity to visit the community where our lodge is located.
You will learn about their daily life by visiting their homes (bomas).
This visit is done on foot from our camp and can be combined with the Ethno-Botanical walk to learn about the flora and fauna of the area.
If you want to add a romantic or just a different experience, we suggest you have a bush lunch under a tree surrounded by nature.

Mto wa Mbu is a highly recommended stop before or after visiting Manyara National Park or your onward safari to Ngorongoro and or Serengeti National Park. We recommend it for biking and or cultural activities to fully enjoy Tanzanian life and nature around Lake Manyara.

Ngorongoro
As a World Heritage Site, this unique destination is renowned for its wildlife. Serengeti or Serenget (Maasai for endless plains) is a unique stage for the annual migration of more than a million wild animals in search of fresh grazing and water and the annual birthing of tens of thousands of wildebeest.
